Domestos, the nation’s most-loved toilet cleaner, is launching London’s latest ‘must-pee’ attraction to celebrate its newest product innovation, the Domestos Power Foam Toilet Cleaner.
The brand will be taking the new 360 ̊ Power Foam’s promise of ‘killing germs in hard-to-reach places’ stratospheric – by unveiling a toilet in quite literally ‘one of the hardest to reach places’ – up to 100ft in the air. While you enjoy the breath-taking views of the city from the comfort of a toilet seat, you can get a sense of how Domestos Power Foam can banish the bacteria from the hard-to-reach places in your home.
Partnering with sky events extraordinaire, London in the Sky, The Loo with a View will suspend guests over the River Thames in a fully-functioning toilet, offering views of some of the city’s infamous landmarks including the O2, The Shard, the Gherkin and many more! What’s more, the free experience will offer a whistle-stop tour of the capital’s bog history.
What can you expect?
Guests will be given the royal treatment you would expect to receive from the porcelain throne. You’ll be briefed, strapped in and raised 100ft over the River Thames! From there, you can enjoy the 360 degree views and audio guide, as well as photo opportunities and potty games. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so make sure you book now as tickets are limited. You’d be loo-dicrous to miss this one!
For attendees’ health and safety, all participants must be fitted into a safety harness during the experience. A complete health & safety briefing will be provided on site and any guest using ‘The Loo with a View’ must adhere to a specific set of safety rules. Experienced and trained health and safety personnel will be onsite for assistance at all times. Any attendees must disclose any pre-existing fears of confined spaces and heights.
No personal effects are permitted in ‘The Loo with a View’ during the experience. To note, the event does not have wheelchair access. Please read the full terms and conditions of the event before booking a ticket.
Please note this is an outdoor event. As such we are open to the elements and there are some weather conditions which impact on the safe operation of ‘Loo with a View’. We will operate in the rain no problem, but in the event of adverse weather conditions such as high wind speeds and thunder & lightning, we reserve the right to cancel the event or lower the ‘Loo with a View’ to a safe operating height in the interests of guests’ safety.
All guests will be asked to sign waivers disclosing health conditions (including vertigo and claustrophobia). Inappropriate behaviour such as nudity or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
Security searches of all guests to take place ahead of lifting – no lighters, drugs or alcohol will be permitted. A full list of prohibited items will be shared with guests ahead of their visit.
Please note, you will be required to be on-site at least 15 minutes prior to your designated lift time to allow for briefing. These timings will be confirmed ahead of your visit.
As the cage is enclosed, we can operate in wet weather conditions. However, there are some more extreme weather conditions such as high wind speeds and thunder & lightening which may compromise the overall safety of the lift. In this case, we reserve the right to lower the crane or postpone the activity. This will be at the discretion of the lifting company and the health & safety manager.
